Senior Cricket 2021
Membership and match subs
Here at Baildon Cricket Club we run 4 senior cricket teams. Our first and second elevens play in the Bradford Premier League and are based at our main ground, Jenny Lane (located at the top end of the village). Our third and fourth elevens take part in the Dales Council League and are based at Sandal Primary School (down West Lane heading towards Shipley Glen).
Our senior players, along with our under 18's squad all train at Jenny Lane on a Tuesday evening from 6-8pm throughout the season. We have three all weather training surfaces each equipped with either a fixed or mobile cage. All our net facilities have been revamped this Winter to provide our members with the best possible conditions.
Our club bar is located at the Jenny Lane site and is operated as a joint sports club and shared between Baildon Cricket Club, Baildon Rugby Club and Baildon Runners. The whole bar area has recently been renovated and we are currently working on plans to add a disabled toilet and an outdoor decking into the facility.
Maintaining all of this operation is not cheap, costs for match balls, paying umpires, maintaining machinery, grass cutting keep on increasing.
In the last couple of years we have moved with the times and adapted our annual membership payment into a monthly direct debit. This spreads out our main income stream across the whole year and helps us to structure our out goings accordingly.
Annual Membership Plan
(aged 19 and over, players aged18 and under are covered on the Junior section of the website)
Direct debit payment scheme
We would request that all playing members sign up for a Direct Debit for £6 a month for a minimum of 12 months, this equates to an annual membership fee of £72.
The direct debit must be set up by the end of April 2021 in order for you to continue being considered eligible for selection. It must also run for a minimum of 12 months to allow for the full annual fee to be collected. If your payments are cancelled, you will not be eligible for selection (or transfer to another club) until all back payments have been collected.
Please click on the link below to set up your annual membership direct debit payment;
Bank transfer for one lump sum payment
Should any player wish to pay the full £72 in one transaction, this is of course acceptable. We ask that in this instance the fee is paid directly to our club bank account as follows;
Bank Name : XXXX
Sort Code : XXXX
Acc no : XXXX
Please use your full name and the initials AM as your payment reference.
Non playing members
Non playing member : £35
Senior Citizen : £20
Family membership (non playing) : £45
This can be paid directly into the club's bank account using the bank details quoted above, when making the payment please use your full name as the payment reference, along with the initials NPM.
Cash/cheque payment for playing and non playing members
Should you wish to pay by cash or cheque, that is still acceptable but the fee for players raises to £85 per year and needs to be paid in full before the end of April 2021 in order for you to continue being considered for selection. The non playing memberships remain at the amounts shown above.
For 2021 we have set our match fees (for all senior games) as follows;
Senior Member £7 per game
Junior Member £5 per game
Due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, we ask all members to set up a direct debit to cover 1 payment per week of the appropriate amount, for the length of the season. These payments should begin on the week coinciding with the first week of the season - 17th April 2021. If your payment has not been set up by Tuesday 13th April, you will not be eligible for selection.
If cup competitions, league double weekends, t20 games occur this year, we request that match fees for these games will be paid in cash on the day of the game.
Please click on the link below to set up your weekly direct debit payment;
If for any reason you are unavailable for any matches and you wish for the weekly fees paid to be returned (and not treated as a contribution towards meeting the running costs of the club), please e-mail Baildoncricketclub@gmail.com, stating your name, the game/s for which you were unavailable for selection and the amount necessary to be re-paid. Our treasurer Darren Barber will then arrange for the amount to be re-paid to the account it came from.
We are currently waiting for the Bradford League and Dales Council League to advise on the playing conditions for this year in respect of the changes necessary to comply with the government's guidelines. At present, the charges laid out on this page do not include a fee in respect of tea.
If we are advised that the provision of player's teas must be restored to match days, we reserve the right to alter the match day fees accordingly.
