Matchday Notes - Saturday 13th July

July 13, 2019

Club treasurer Darren Barber talks us through the action

Hello All

I would like to welcome you to Jenny Lane for what promises to be a big weekend for the club. On Saturday the first team welcome Hartshead Moor who sit just 2 points behind us in the table, so it should be a closely fought encounter. Our form has taken a downturn recently but a win today would get our season back track.

Then on Sunday we go to New Farnley for a Priestley Cup semi final. We will go into this game as underdogs against the premier division side but hopefully the lads can pull of a shock result.

On behalf of everyone at the club I would like to congratulate Mushy on reaching the incredible milestone 1000 Bradford league first team wickets in the recent game away at Morley. He is only the fourteenth player in the history of the league to achieve this feat.

In other cricketing news our former overseas Colin De Grandhomme has made it to a world cup final. I'm sure everyone at the club wishes him well, that he enjoys the experience and comes away with a well deserved runners up medal.

Good luck to the three Baildon teams in action this weekend.
