Beer & Gin Festival countdown - 10 days to go

The tasting notes for our beers on sale at the festival are now available thanks to Mill Valley Brewery:

 

Same Again 3.4%
Our session pale is light in color, from the use of barley, wheat & oats. Then it’s smooth and hoppy, with plenty of flavor for a low strength beer. Tropical and citrus fruits from the use of American Amarillo, Cascade & Columbus

Luddite 3.8%
Luddite ale is a light amber beer, Brewed as a session beer for the ordinary working man or woman. It has a blend of Maris Otter, Crystal and Munich malts, and then hopped with English Hops. This gives the beer a smooth body, with a sweet finish.

Yorkshire Bitter 4.0%
Our traditional Yorkshire bitter, is a fantastic seller in any situation. It’s chestnut in color, has a sweet caramel & toffee from the malts, and is then hopped with English grown hops. Admiral, East Kent Goldings & Challenger

Panther Pale 4.0%
Our flag ship beer, brewed with Yorkshire Pale & Wheat Malt, and hopped with American Citra. Crisp & refreshing with mellow tropical fruits, certainly a session beer.

Mill Blonde 4.2%
Our pale blonde beer is brewed using Extra Pale Malt, Wheat and a touch of Caramalt, then hopped with American Calypso & Cascade hops, to give it a fruity, grapefruit and light spice finish.

Mill Valley Xtra - Yorkshire Rose 4.2%
This pale ale has been brewed with American Yeast, and 3 high alpha American hops, Centennial, Citra & Summit. There are plenty of pink grapefruit and citrus flavours with floral notes.

Mill Valley Extra - Fudge! 4.6%
Winner of the people choice 4.1% - 5.0% beer at Bradford Beer Festival 
A smooth and rich stout, with added flavors of Chocolate Brownie, and a lightly roasted hint to balance out the sweetness. This is Fudge!

Big Panther 5.0%
A stronger and hoppier version of our flagship beer Panther Pale. We have added more malt in the mash tun & more hops to each stage of the brewing process. Big citrus and fruity flavors, this is Big Panther

Mill Valley Xtra - Triple Chocolate Stout 5.6%
We have added chocolate malt to the mash, dark chocolate in the copper and cocoa nibs in the FV. This is oozing with chocolate. The only hops that went into this brew are 100% English. Admiral & Challenger, with a late addition of East Kent Golding’s to give it a mild fruity and floral aroma, and a chocolate finish.

Hilltop – Classic Bitter 3.9%
Traditional English bitter, with toffee and floral notes.

Stod Fold – The West 4.0%
An American style Westcoast pale ale hopped with Cascade, Columbus and Centennial.

Milestone – The Eagle 4.0%
Session Ale, genersoly hopped, citrus flavours

Imperial – Raging Bull 4.0%
Traditional mild, light brown in colour with American hops.

4T’s – Geronimo 4.2%
Session IPA, extra pale in colour brewed with Cascade, Centennial, Chinook and finished with an air strike of simcoe hops to finish. Resulting in a smooth bitterness with explosions of citrus and grapefruit

Raw – Equanot Pale 4.3%
An American pale single hopped with Equanot, to give citrus, fruity and slight herbal flavours.

North Yorkshire Brewery - Yorkshire Porter 4.4%
Luxury porter brewed with chocolate malt & traditional English hops

White Rose – White Lightening 4.5%
English pale ale that is well balanced against a hoppy citrus finish

Great Heck - Mosaic 4.5%
Golden ale made with only Mosaic hop, named in honour of the artistic assortment of aromas and flavours it presents. Loads of earthy, fruity and floral notes all join together to give you the complete flavour smash that only this hop can give. 

North Yorkshire Brewery - Flying Herbert 4.7%
Smooth full flavoured premium bitter. Malt and hops balance the strong fruitiness. The finish is malty, fruity and dry

Magpie - Jay IPA 5.2%
Mature hops, citrus fruit nose with a balance of hops and malt in the mouth with a smooth, hoppy aftertaste
