This weekend sees our annual beer festival at the club. This is our main fundraiser and the committee have been hard at work to make this run smoothly so a big thanks goes to them. Only the 1st XI have a game on Saturday so hopefully as meany people as possible will come up and give them our support as they look to turn around a poor start to the season.
Saturday 1st

A big crowd will hopefully give the 1s the catalyst they need to improve their season. Good bowling kept us in the game in the away fixture against Yeadon but our chase fizzled out. With Jamin available this time that bolsters our bowling. Stefan Mather has impressed with his bowling in recent weeks and remains in the team. Hopefully a seam-friendly wicket will be prepared with our 6 potential bowling options!
At the lunch interval we will have a minutes silence to remember the much-missed Don Butterfield who passed away earlier this year.
