The 1s are hoping for a turn around in their form after struggling in recent weeks. A win will give us some breathing space from the relegation places. On Saturday the 1s face Carlton who are one place above us.

Baildon 2nd XI v Carlton 2nd XI - Jenny Lane @ 12:30 Match Day sponsor: Adam Dean The 2s have won 3 on the bounce now after a dominating win against Bradford and Bingley last week. Asked to bowl first we restricted the Wagon Laners to 102 bowling them out in under 40 overs. Stefan Mather bowled 15 overs and would have had even better figures than 2-22 if there were safer hands in the field. Josh Capper took 4-27 and Will Baker was very threatening when he came on to take 3-14. We made the chase interesting after a promising start by losing 3 quick wickets - their young leg spinner Abdullah Hussain troubling as he turned the ball both ways. Jamie Denison and Simon McDermott were the main contributors.

Baildon 3rd XI v Leeds Caribbean 1st XI - Sandal School @ 13:30 A 20 point win for the 3s against Leeds Sikh's 2s as we made 187 batting first. Dave Hodgson made 55 at the top with support from James Butterfield (39), Josh Hannan (25) and Danny Bell (29). Dan Metcalfe made a good return with the ball taking 3-27 as all bowlers picked up at least one wicket.

Leeds Caribbean 2nd XI v Baildon 4th XI - Scott Hall Oval @ 13:30 A good game that we came second best in last week. The Allerton brothers were the stars of the show as Toby took 5-46 and Lucas hit 55. TPE's score of 192 was just too many as we ran out of wickets. We have a chance to turn around and win this week as Leeds Caribbean's 2s are languishing in 11th. Sunday 11th Thornbury 1st XI v Baildon 3rd XI - Thornbury @ 13:30 We're the last Division B side still in the Pool Paper Mills Cup. Thornbury have a strong side but at their ground it can be a case of who clears the ropes the most and if some of out batsman can stay in there's every chance we can progress to the semi final.
