First team captain Dwayne Heke looks ahead to the weekend's action.
Hello everyone, I trust you are all well and looking forward to some decent cricket this weekend.
After last weekends 1st team game against Bankfoot has been rescheduled for another Sunday later in the season 🤦🏽♂️ I know my boys are all eager as to get stuck in this weekend.
On Saturday we welcome Pudsey Congs to Jenny Lane. Congs have restructured their side over the last few seasons and very similar to ourselves they to boost a very young and exciting 1st team.
Both side have had tough starts to the season but I really like the way our boys are getting stuck and the enthusiasm to improve and get better is great to see.
On Sunday we make the trip to Morley for the 1st round of the cup. It is always a good tussle when we play morley and I’m sure they are wanting some revenge for when we beat them the last game of the 2019 season to stop them winning the league.
The 2’s travel to Pudsey Congs which will prove a tough challenge for them but after a convincing win last weekend the boys are up for it and looking forward to the contest.
The 3’s travel to Adel this and again after a very good performance last weekend they are looking to continue that momentum into this weekend and the rest of the season.
The 4’s are at home to New Farnley and with some very solid individual performances last weekend Andy’s side can take a lot of confidence into this game and get their season back on track with a win.
